Terms of Service

BespokeDocs ("Platform," "we," "us") is a technology platform operated by BespokeDocs LLC that connects individuals and businesses with licensed attorneys for flat-fee commercial contract review. BespokeDocs is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

All legal services provided through the Platform are rendered by independent licensed attorneys through their own individual law practices ("Attorney"). The Attorney is solely responsible for the legal services provided and for all attorney-client communications.

Submitting a contract or any information through the Platform intake form does not create an attorney-client relationship, establish attorney-client privilege, or constitute legal advice. Your submission is treated as a request for legal services, not as a confidential communication. BespokeDocs LLC is a technology platform and is not a party to any attorney-client relationship.

An attorney-client relationship is established between you and the attorney assigned to your matter only upon: (i) your execution of a written engagement letter signed by that attorney, and (ii) confirmation of payment. All communications are protected by attorney-client privilege from the moment the engagement letter is executed. Your attorney-client relationship is with the individual licensed attorney who executes your engagement letter — not with BespokeDocs LLC.

BespokeDocs provides flat-fee review of commercial contracts governed by US law, including NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, vendor agreements, and similar commercial contracts. The scope of each engagement is defined in the engagement letter.

Services do not include: drafting or redlining contracts, representing you in negotiations or disputes, advising on non-commercial matters (employment, real estate, immigration, criminal), or providing jurisdiction-specific legal advice. The Platform will flag provisions that may warrant further review by counsel licensed in the applicable jurisdiction.

BespokeDocs uses AI tools, including services provided by Anthropic, PBC ("Anthropic"), to assist with initial contract analysis. This AI assistance is used under the direct supervision of the Attorney. All AI-generated output is reviewed, edited, and approved by the Attorney before delivery to you.

You will receive an attorney-reviewed memo — not a raw AI output. The Attorney is responsible for all delivered work product. AI tools are used solely to improve efficiency; they do not replace attorney judgment.

By submitting a contract through the Platform, you consent to the transmission of your contract and intake information to Anthropic's API for the purpose of AI-assisted analysis. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. BespokeDocs does not permit your data to be used for AI model training.

Fees are disclosed before submission and are charged at a flat rate based on contract type and page count. Payment is processed through Stripe. Work begins only upon confirmation of payment.

Fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. Work commences upon confirmation of payment following execution of the engagement letter. If you cancel prior to payment confirmation, no fee is charged.

The Attorney will deliver the completed memo within 3–5 business days of confirmed payment — typically sooner. Delivery is by email to the address provided at intake. If a delay is anticipated, you will be notified promptly.

Your client file — including the engagement letter, contract submitted for review, memo delivered, and correspondence — will be retained for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with applicable professional obligations. Your file is maintained in the Attorney's practice records and is not subject to deletion by BespokeDocs LLC.

All information you provide after execution of the engagement letter is protected by attorney-client privilege. Information submitted through the intake form prior to execution of the engagement letter is treated as confidential by BespokeDocs but is not protected by attorney-client privilege until the engagement letter is signed.

BespokeDocs LLC, as a technology platform, is not a party to the attorney-client relationship and has no liability for the legal services provided. The Attorney's liability is governed by applicable professional responsibility rules and the terms of the engagement letter.

The Platform is provided "as is." BespokeDocs LLC makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Platform.

BespokeDocs may also be used by licensed attorneys as a legal practice management platform to manage client intake, matter organization, document storage, and delivery of work product for their own independent legal practices. Attorneys using the Platform in this capacity do so as independent practitioners. BespokeDocs LLC does not supervise or direct the legal services provided by attorneys using the Platform for practice management purposes and is not responsible for the legal services they render.

Clients of attorneys using the Platform for practice management purposes should direct any questions about their legal matter to their Attorney directly.

These Terms govern your use of the Platform as a technology service and are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform (as distinct from legal services provided) shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montana, unless otherwise stated in the applicable engagement letter.

Disputes arising from legal services provided through the Platform — including any dispute between you and the Attorney regarding the scope, quality, or delivery of legal services — are governed by the dispute resolution provisions of your engagement letter, which controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
